Facebook is an extremely useful tool for any business in order to connect with customers and so owning a Facebook page is essential. It currently has over 2.3 billion monthly active users which is over 34 times the population of the UK, over 3 times that of Europe and nearly one third of the population of the world.
If this isn’t reason enough then you should also consider that if you don’t make a Facebook page yourself, someone else might do it for you. This could be a fan of your company or a critic but this isn’t ideal when you want to be able to manage what your content your company is creating.
The following video is a tutorial I have made to demonstrate how to set up a Facebook business page for your company. It is a fairly simple process and a useful tool to get yourself started with creating a Facebook business page.
If you’re a student on the other hand, I would still definitely recommend giving it a go because it is a useful skill to learn for any future employers you may have. Alternatively, if you run your own student blog then a Facebook page can be really useful to keep people updated on what you’re posting and what they can expect to see.
If you found this video tutorial useful, you might also find my post about how to set up a twitter account useful too so be sure to check that out.
I hope you have found this video useful and if you have any further questions, please feel free to leave a comment down below and I shall answer them as best and quickly as I can.

Is there a best image size for a Facebook cover image?
Freya
I would recommend 820 x 462 pixels so it is optimised for both viewing on mobile and desktops. Facebook will crop the image (thankfully, not distort it) depending on the device being used, so make sure all the important information is central. I hope this helps!
